I am newbie on atutor. I added some pages (ex: devision.php, department.php etc.) on \mods\_core\users module for my project requirement.
I changed the \mods\_core\users\module.php file to display those pages under USERS tab. I added those lines:

$this->_pages['mods/_core/users/users.php']['children'] =
array( 'mods/_core/users/division.php',
'mods/_core/users/create_division.php',
'mods/_core/users/department.php',
'mods/_core/users/create_department.php',
'mods/_core/users/section.php',
'mods/_core/users/create_section.php'
);

AND

$this->_pages['mods/_core/users/division.php']['title_var'] = 'division';
$this->_pages['mods/_core/users/division.php']['parent'] = 'mods/_core/users/users.php';
$this->_pages['mods/_core/users/create_division.php']['title_var'] = 'create_division';
$this->_pages['mods/_core/users/create_division.php']['parent'] = 'mods/_core/users/users.php';
$this->_pages['mods/_core/users/edit_division.php']['title_var'] = 'edit_division';
$this->_pages['mods/_core/users/edit_division.php']['parent'] = 'mods/_core/users/users.php';

But the menu is displaying with brackets. Please help me how to remove the brackets.

Thanks

It sound like the title_vars have not been translated.

Add via the Language Manager>Translator the three title_vars
division
create_division
edit_division

and provide the translation for each
Division
Create Division
Edit Division

That should fix the problem.
Login as the admin and go to System Preferences>Languages>Translate
.../ATutor/mods/_core/languages/language_translate.php

You'll need to enable translate mode as described there, then add the new language items.

These language items should also end up in the module.sql file for your module. Here's an example of the file
https://github.com/atutor/hello_world/blob/master/module.sql
