content dir missing: not good

ok, so after bailing on runnig this under Windoze, I turned to my Linux server/Apache as a platform..
After downloading & extracting the latest build, I see the CONTENT directory is not present.
This issue seems to have cropped up many times in years past, in looking through the threads..

Sad...
I was really hoping for a more stable install.

You need to create the content directory. It has always been that way.

I must have missed that...
I swear it doesn't say that in the install instructions..
