hia, I found a bug in patcher after installing 1.6.1, and trying to install a patch I had made for 1.6 again.

the changes that patch did are naturally lost in the upgrade process, but when uploading it again it says "patch allready installed".

..this also happens when deleting the patch from "my patches" and uploading it again. To get it to work I had to change the name of the patch from vjo001 to vjo002

Hi,

This bug is confirmed and fixed. I will create a patch later, hopefully, with the fix on restoring backup and export content.

Thanks.

the zip files created by patcher register as invalid when I try to alter them.

zip output:highlight_code(' zip warning: local and central headers differ for (null)
zip warning: offset 6--local = 00, central = 33
zip warning: offset 7--local = 00, central = 5d
zip warning: offset 8--local = 00, central = d4
zip warning: offset 9--local = 00, central = 38

zip error: Zip file structure invalid (/home/gorzan/NST/patches/gorzan_cpreffix.zip)')

This isn't a major problem as running a "zip -F file.zip" seems to fix the file, but can be annoying when working on tweaks and bugfixes for a patch.

Hi Gorzan,

How did you alter the zip file? At linux? Can you give more details?

Thanks.

I used the program "zip" in ubuntu yes. Haven't tried in windows, but the same problem persists with all zip files created by patcher.

It's likely not the patcher specifically. It, and other zip utilities, make us of php zlib. Try creating another zip file, like a language pack. Also try generating a zip file on our demo site.

My guess it is php version specific.

Hi,

Patch 0002 has been created to fix the bug that patcher reports "installed" when installing a patch that had been installed previously before upgrade. This patch also fixes a few other things including backup/restore problem and the problem that content export gives blank page when running on php 4.

I've added Gorzan's bug report into mantis.

Thanks, guys.
