These modules are not available for ATutor 2.2. They are third party modules, no longer being maintained. See the note with the module manager regarding older modules.

Hi Greg,

I am seeming this bug on a fresh install of v2.2 for modules available for v2.2.

Symptoms:

When selecting a module from the the list presented in the "Install Modules" interface, the module you select is not the module that is subsequently downloaded or installed. Instead, some seemingly random other module is picked.

Details:

OS: CentOS 6.5; ATutor version: 2.2; Patches applied: None; ATutor theme: default; PHP version: 5.3.3, MySQL version: 5.1.73, Wserver: apache 2.2.15. Web browser: chromium & firefox.

Proposed solution (with patch):

I took a look at the code and I think the origin of the problem lies in the fact that, in version 2.2, the install-able module list is displayed ordered by version, so the form selects an id based on that order. However, after submission, this id is used within the unsorted install-able module list.

A solution would therefore be to add, after line 62 which set module_list_array, a bit of code to sort that array in the same way as was done for the form.

The attached patch does precisely this.

Great, thanks!

Was planning on fixing the bug this weekend. That will save me a bit of work.

It would be even better if you could submit the patch as a pull request in Github.
