Hi
I upgraded my atutor 1.6.1 which had been upgraded from 1.5.1. No errors were anounced while installing, and everything seems ok. now.
The only problem is that when the new system is installed directly, the context of the sections such as File storage list their contexts (files, antthing in) just below the icon on the main page. But when I upraded it this can't be occur. You should click the
icon to see the context.
What should I do to see the context listed just below the icon of the section on the main page?
I thought it could be be due to the version of default theme of the atutor. It looks as 1.5.x. But I couldn't change it.
I need your help.

I'm guessing you're talking about the new detailed view for icons/tools on the course home page. You just need to click the toggle icon in the top left, as an instructor, to switch between icon view and detailed view.

Also, test with the default theme. Perhaps Ice Blue is not working properly. It's not one of our themes.

I am sending the view of the forum icon ('Forumlar' in Turkish)on the main page, in the type I want to get. I can't get this in my site upgraded from 1.6.x (www.onlindershane.org)

Did you click on the toggle just above the Forum icon.

What exactly I want is to see the last 3 new topics listed below the section icons on the welcome (main) page of each course as in the atutor 1.6.3 version. When I make a new installation it is OK, but I have not been able to do this when I upgrade a previous version to atutor 1.6.3.

The version of the default atutor theme looks unchanged after upgrading. (in my system 1.5.2, for example.)I couldn't overcome the problem yet.

I added a gif file (snapshot.gif) to tell visually. I hope it helps you on what I want exactly.

i can not see your screenshots, but anyway, i am also using ice blue as my atutor theme, and i had pretty problems with the visual appareance in the "student" views...when i "hide" the leftmenu icons i could see the page properly, but when the leftmenu was visible, the rest of the page was an entire mess...

i think some of the troubles you're having are related to this, and i suggest you to modify the css pages of ice blue theme...

I am sorry. I am not so adequate to use the forum here. I added the gif file. It is just below the lines
on upper left message box. You see an icon just below the line snapshot.gif. When you click on you will able to see.

maybe there are different kind of users, BB code and/or html is disabled, or something, cause i still don't see eny image, nor link for it...sorry...

try to use the attachment at the end of the page, or try to insert your screenshot with phpBB code in the way:

fazli, as an instructor of a course, you would need to click the toggle at the top left of the icons to switch between icon mode and detailed mode.

If you are using a custom theme, it may need to be upgraded. see the theme changelog for details about upgrading a theme

I am sorry to say that I couldn't understand what I should do afer reading the page you gave the link. It is a bit confusing for me. I have tried what I understood but it hasn't solved the problem. I still can not jump the detailed mode. Any different method todo this, or another page to help me in the forum.

It may be a problem with Pretty Url if you have it turned on in System Preferences. Turn it off and see if that helps.

If you do not understand the theme changelog, then you probably need someone who is able to understand it to make changes to your custom theme. The changelog and theme development assumes the designer has at least basic HTML and CSS skills. And, a little knowledge of PHP helps.
